Cool weather with little rain to ease the dry. The weather reports gave false hope of good rain once again. We look forward to the next lot of rain coming sooner rather than later!
Cattle: Numbers remain high in the sale yards with prices moving up and down. As always quality cattle are selling for a reasonable price. Costs continue to rise with the move of cattle ticks, fuel prices and associated farm costs on the rise. Lucky farmers are resilient and most have a glass half full approach!
