Cool weather with little rain to ease the dry. The weather reports gave false hope of good rain once again. We look forward to the next lot of rain coming sooner rather than later! Cattle: Numbers remain high in the sale yards with prices moving up and down. As always quality cattle are selling for a reasonable price. Wow another year is coming to a close. A time to reflect on another year in the beautiful South Burnett. Cattle: A good year overall for our cattle producers. Finishing the year strong with a great season in most areas. Green paddocks, fat cattle and good prices - it doesn't get much better than that.
